Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but you can help it along with a bottle - a bottle of vinegar, that is.

Unless otherwise stated, most of these remedies use apple cider vinegar, which is readily available in your grocery store.

Here are some helpful tips for improving beauty...

Dandruff - After shampooing, rinse your hair with a solution of two cups water and 1/2 cup vinegar.  For even further flake-fighting, put a plastic shower cap over your hair and leave the mixture on your head for an hour before rinsing.

Frizzies - To eliminate the frizzies from over processed hair, rinse your hair with four parts water and one part vinegar after every shampoo.

Cracked Skin - Heal cracked, chapped skin by gently applying a mixture of half vinegar , half water.

Blackheads - Mash three large strawberries and mix them with 1/4 cup vinegar.  Let the mixture stand for two hours, then strain it  through a cheesecloth.  Apply to your face and leave it on overnight.  Wash your face with cool water and a mild soap in the morning.

Flaky Skin - Dull winter skin has you singing the blues, take a vinegar bath.  Add one cup vinegar to lukewarm water and soak for 20 minutes or so.

Dentures - Get your dentures shiny white by soaking them in pure white vinegar overnight.
